How a treatment works

Information session
Skin, hair, history, contraindications, an indicative number of sessions. Free of charge for laser. For electrolysis, the information session costs €20 and includes 5 minutes of treatment.

The course of sessions
Usually 6 to 10 sessions, every 6 to 8 weeks (most often 8), following the hair growth cycle.

One or two sessions a year to maintain the result; electrolysis case by case, to refine it.

With laser, you feel a brief warmth, softened by the cooled tip; with electrolysis, a brief pinprick at each hair. The vast majority of my clients find the sensation perfectly bearable, and we take all the time needed, with breaks if you wish.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 6 to 10 sessions, 6 to 8 weeks apart. Laser only destroys the bulb when the hair is in its active growth phase, and not all your hairs are growing at the same time. By the end of treatment, you can usually expect around 80% less hair. The hair growth cycle →
My hair is blonde or white. Can it be treated?
Laser does not pick it up. Electrolysis, on the other hand, does not depend on hair colour: it is a precision technique, ideal for the face, targeted areas and finishing touches. For a larger area, we discuss it at the information session.
Can hormonal hair growth or PCOS be treated?
Yes, and the improvement is often significant. It generally takes more sessions and regular maintenance. We talk about it openly at the information session, with your doctor if needed.
Can I have laser in summer?
Yes, on areas not exposed to the sun. Your skin must not be tanned at the time of the session; how long to wait depends on your skin type, and I will tell you at the information session.
