Charlotte is gentle, professional and attentive. She takes the time to explain the treatment at the start, which is reassuring and really professional! I am very happy with the result.
Laser hair removal, set for you.
Legs, bikini line, underarms, back, chest: laser is the most effective technique for lasting reduction of dark hair on every area of the body. After a full course of treatment, you can generally expect around 80% less hair.
I work with a Leaseir MHR diode laser, which I adjust at every session to your skin and hair type.

The Leaseir MHR
You may well not know the name. The Leaseir MHR is a diode laser designed and manufactured in Spain by Leaseir, a manufacturer specialising in hair removal. I chose it for its power and precision, and I use the Dual version.
To destroy a hair bulb, the laser has to deliver enough energy in a very short time, before the heat spreads into the surrounding skin. The finer the hair, the shorter that pulse needs to be.
This is where power matters. The Leaseir MHR delivers up to 4,000 W of peak light power. It can therefore concentrate high energy into a few milliseconds, over an area of around 2 cm² with each pulse.
A good device does not do everything. The result also comes from the settings and the follow-up, session after session.
Better results on finer hair
Thanks to short, powerful pulses. The hair must still have enough pigment to absorb the light.
Shorter sessions
The laser delivers up to 4 pulses per second, around 8 cm² treated every second. Half a leg takes about half an hour.
Fine-tuned settings
I set the length of each pulse, from 4 to 400 milliseconds, according to your skin and hair type, area by area.
Two ways of working
Pulse by pulse, or with repeated passes in motion, more gradual on sensitive areas.
Comfort throughout the session
The tip, continuously cooled to around 0 °C, stays in contact with the skin. It protects the skin while the energy travels down to the bulb, and softens the sensation of heat.
From fair to olive skin
With the right settings. It is not suitable for very dark skin (type VI).

It all comes down to the hair growth cycle
The laser light is absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair, melanin. It turns into heat and travels down to the root. Every hair goes through three phases.
Growth
The hair is still attached to its bulb, which nourishes it. This is the only time the laser can destroy the bulb.
The laser destroys the bulbTransition
The hair gradually detaches from its bulb. The laser weakens it without destroying it.
The laser weakens the hairRest
The hair is no longer attached to the bulb and eventually falls out. The laser only weakens it.
The laser weakens the hairWhy several sessions
At any given time, only some of your hairs are in the growth phase. The others will follow in the weeks to come. That is why several sessions are needed, 6 to 8 weeks apart, to give a new group of hairs time to enter the growth phase.
After each session
The treated hairs fall out on their own, usually 10 to 15 days later.
On dark, coarse hair
Laser gives its best results on dark, coarse hair, whatever the area of the body. Finer or lighter hair responds less well. At the information session (first consultation), before we start, I tell you what you can expect.
Very fine vellus hair
Laser does not work on fine vellus hair. On hormone-sensitive areas such as the face or neck, it can even occasionally stimulate it: this is known as paradoxical hair growth. In those cases I offer electrolysis, which treats each follicle individually. This does not affect the usual areas such as the legs, bikini line or underarms.
The face
The face is a delicate area, where hair growth depends a great deal on hormones. I generally favour electrolysis here. Laser can be used for some very dark, coarse hairs. Face and PCOS →
White, blonde or red hair
Laser does not pick it up. Electrolysis, a precision technique designed for targeted areas, then takes over.
Maintaining the result
I recommend one or two maintenance sessions a year.
Four steps, no surprises
- 01
The information session, free of charge
I look at your skin and hair, answer your questions and tell you honestly what you can expect. If laser is not right for you, I tell you, and we do not start. It takes about twenty minutes.
Free of charge - 02
A test, if needed
A test on a small area can be considered before the first session.
- 03
The sessions
Usually 6 to 10 sessions, every 6 to 8 weeks at first; the intervals then lengthen as the hair becomes sparser. Each session is paid individually, with no package. You can add or remove an area along the way.
- 04
Maintenance
One or two sessions a year to maintain the result. On the legs, bikini line or underarms, laser generally already gives very good results; electrolysis is used only case by case, to refine them.
Preparing the area
4 weeks without waxing or tweezing
Stop waxing, tweezing and using an epilator 4 weeks before the first session, and throughout the treatment: the laser needs the hair to be in its bulb.
Shave 48 hours before
Shave the area 48 hours before each session (two days before). Do not bleach the hair.
Untanned skin
No sun, sunbeds or self-tanner on the area: your skin must not be tanned at the time of the session. How long to wait depends on your skin type (fair skin tans little, olive skin tans more easily and for longer); I will tell you at the information session.
Your medication
Let me know about any new medication, even a cream.
Aftercare
Slight redness
This is normal and usually fades within a few hours.
Protect the area from the sun
Avoid the sun for 4 to 5 days after the session, and protect the area with SPF 50.
A few quiet days
Avoid exercise for 2 to 3 days, as well as saunas and steam rooms.
Let it happen, then exfoliate
Do not pull on the treated hairs: they fall out on their own. From the fourth day, a gentle scrub with a Moroccan-style exfoliating glove (kessa) helps them come away, along with dead skin cells.
When I do not treat, or not yet
- under 16 (from 16, with a parent’s consent);
- during pregnancy and breastfeeding: I advise resuming treatment once your hormonal balance has settled;
- on tanned skin or skin recently exposed to the sun;
- if you are taking a photosensitising medication (certain antibiotics, isotretinoin, etc.);
- over a tattoo, a mole or a skin lesion;
- with a pacemaker: only with your cardiologist’s written consent, and never near the device;
- in case of light-sensitive epilepsy, or an infection or active cold sore on the area.
If in doubt, I ask for your doctor’s opinion before we start.
The areas I treat

Frequently asked questions about laser
All the questions on a single page: the full FAQ.
What result can I expect?
In general, around 80% less hair by the end of treatment. The remaining hairs are finer and lighter. The result varies with your skin, your hair type and your hormones.
Does it hurt?
You feel a brief warmth with each pulse, softened by the tip cooled to around 0 °C. Most clients find it entirely bearable. For sensitive areas, such as a full Brazilian, a numbing cream is possible. We take all the time needed, with breaks if you need them.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 6 to 10, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart and then further and further apart. The number depends on the area treated, the type and colour of the hair, your skin type, your age and your hormonal profile: hormone-sensitive areas often need more. This is a guide, which I refine at the information session.
When will I see a difference?
From the very first session: regrowth is already different, and the treated hairs fall out 10 to 15 days later. The difference then becomes more noticeable session after session.
Can I have laser in summer?
Yes, on areas not exposed to the sun. For the legs, it is best to start in the autumn.
Is laser suitable for olive skin?
Yes. The diode laser is suitable from fair to olive skin, with the right settings. It is not suitable for very dark skin (type VI).
