My name is Charlotte Giesen.
I am a beauty therapist, and for more than seven years I have devoted myself to permanent hair removal: with laser, and with electrolysis for the face, targeted areas and finishing touches.

Family expertise
A family expertise
Beauty runs in the family. My mother, Solange Bellin, founded the Beauty Space salon, where this expertise was passed on to me: a gift for good advice, attentive listening, and constant high standards for every client.
It was at this salon that I took my first steps in the profession. It very quickly became a passion.
From my mother, I hold on to one conviction: the client comes first, and every attention counts. Today we each run our own practice, and we still sometimes work together.
My training
Trained in laser by a doctor
I was trained in laser hair removal by a doctor, through a complete, in-depth course. I then practised for several years before opening EpilYou.
For electrolysis, I received complete training from Apilus, the manufacturer of my device, the Apilus xcell Pro.
Beauty therapy diploma
A beauty therapy diploma, the foundation of my work, later complemented by my specialised training in permanent hair removal.
Laser: trained by a doctor
Complete, in-depth laser training, followed by several years of practice before opening EpilYou.
Electrolysis (thermolysis): trained by Apilus
Complete training from Apilus, the manufacturer of my device, the Apilus xcell Pro.
How I work
What you can expect
Everyone is different
I have no ready-made speech: each client arrives with her own questions. At the information session (first consultation), I explain how the treatment works, step by step, and the device I use, then I take the time to answer each of your questions.
An honest opinion on results
If I think laser will not work for you, I tell you before we start, and we do not start. During treatment this is rare: if results level off, I tell you that too. Many of my clients come through word of mouth, precisely because of this honesty.
I take my time
A session is never timed to the second. If you need a break, we take one.
I look after you myself
From the first assessment to the last session, I am the one who sees you.
Session by session
No subscription, no package paid in advance. I give you an indicative number of sessions, never a guarantee. And you can add or remove an area along the way.
What I will not do
- Promise an absolute result. I tell you what is realistic for you, and it is generally a clear result: around 80% less hair with laser by the end of treatment.
- Treat men’s intimate areas.
